Cañihua

CanihuaChenopodium pallidicaule

It is native to the Andes Region of Peru, yet has been widely cultivated and consumed throughout the Andean Region of all of South America. Cañihua contains a high protein content and its amino acid balance is superlative, it also contains vitamins E and B complex.
